Space And Co. was established in the United Kingdom in 2019 by Kachi CHAN and
Pat WingShan WONG, both esteemed assistant professors at the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University. As multifaceted artists, educators, and researchers, they are dedicated to research-driven initiatives that investigate the dynamic interactions between individuals in both physical and virtual environments, with a particular focus on the implications of capitalization within these spheres. Their methodologies encompass a diverse range of approaches, including computational design, participatory workshops, digital heritage archiving, digital realities, robotics, performative sculpture, speculative drawings, and the application of cultural informatics to critically engage with socio-political and economic challenges. Through their work, they aim to interrogate issues of resource domination while amplifying the voices of marginalized communities.
Space And Co. has been at the forefront of delivering innovative projects that seamlessly integrate art, technology, and societal engagement. Their inaugural initiative, Barter Archive (2020), was distinguished by grants from Arts Council England and the Royal College of Art in 2021. The robotic art installation, Sisyphus (2021), received notable recognition at esteemed events, including the Prix Ars Electronica 2022 (Digital Communities) and the UCL Bartlett Medal. In 2022, the organization established its presence in Hong Kong, launching the digital humanities archive project, Foreseen Property Agency (2023), followed by Foreseen 2099 (2024). Moreover, they successfully secured funding of 1.2 million HKD from Cyberport to develop a cultural heritage archiving system aimed at enhancing community access to digital resources and promoting educational outreach. Additionally, they obtained 3 million HKD from the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau to orchestrate the Art Tech Society Asia Festival in Hong Kong in 2026.
This initiative is inspired by World ID, a pioneering art-tech enterprise dedicated to investigating the ramifications of decentralisation through the categorisation of entities into bio-humans and non-humans, thereby establishing a seamless identity framework devoid of boundaries. The organisation envisions a future where these two classifications are the sole recognitions. Participants have the opportunity to accrue cryptocurrency rewards through retina registration, serving as an innovative incentive mechanism. Our project is influenced by the strategic methodologies of this technological powerhouse, which adeptly utilises speculative frameworks, navigates nuanced terminology, and champions an avant-garde, utopian vision for the advancement of humanity.

Hello, World Home! is a forward-thinking corporate startup dedicated to the exploration of the concept of eternal life and the strategic centralisation of resources. Our mission is to cultivate a post-neoliberal society that promotes human evolution while safeguarding the rich heritage of humanity. We have successfully captured and extracted the images of 120 individuals from Gwangju, Korea. Through an image-to-text process, we have ethically facilitated the transition of these individuals via a portal to a new dimension, enabling them to establish vibrant communities and lead enriching lives.
The project is comprised of two fundamental components: The Transmitter, which captures visual data from the physical realm and transforms biological humans into digital entities designated as Settlers, and the Portal, serving as the conduit between the virtual domain and tangible reality. We are currently encountering signal interference, necessitating maintenance on the Portal, which has affected the transfer process. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we diligently work to rectify these challenges.
